I think in order for the game to be more successful the following things needs to happen before fully releasing the game:
-NO more stuff like hey here's open beta, enjoy it.Releasing the game in open beta like that was at best a weird marketing choices because there was no hype built to it and lots of people didnt even knew that the game is in open beta.
-Improved tutorials because the current form of them are not really that explanatory.
-Get in the reworked proficiencies and also give the players the option to make their own recomanded proficiencie.Also give the proficiencies in game tab a filter system for the stats that a player is looking for..because it would be much easier to get the proficiencies of your choosing with a filter rather than just hovering with your mouse over each one of them.
-Get more proficiencies/tacticals abilities/augmentations/war techs/unit techs and few new units.
-Get bigger party lobby
-Get custom games.
-Rework the god damn cargo docks because they are so underwhelming.
-Make better abilities tool tips in game and out of game because we dont really know how abilities are scaling and its kinda hard to know what to scale..dota2 tool tips are a good example.
-Give jungle minions different models for each camp that gives different stats also explain how they work in tutorials.
-No more bugs in lobby..its kinda sad that in open beta there were still almost the same bugs that were in closed beta..also give the player the option to change their augmentation page and tactical after you lock in because it dosnt make any sense not to be abel to do that.
-Fix the servers especially in weeknds..there were tons of weeknds were the servers got buggy.
-More achievements and rewards for players.
-Let the players know how many games they played and how many wins they have..this is a nitch pick but still it would be next best thing until ranked will come.
-Make a referee program for giving people stuff if they bring friends in.
-Build more hype for things that are coming to supernova..use the damn social medial..but use it and not just post on it when someone is remembering that supernova have social medial.
-Do videos for the new commanders that are coming like small commander previews ...paragon is doing pretty nice ones without having any great tool..they just record some games and cut it and present the commander, abilities and some recomanded stats ..all in like 2 min its not a huge task at all...and also build more hype around it...new commanders/heroes are pretty big deal in other mobas..and they all build hype on the new heroes .
-Make community streams where the guy that streams on supernova channel plays with viewers and stuff.
-And obviously more and better marketing..with a new product you either go hard or go home there is no middle ground now days..especially in a demanding genre like mobas.
-Give the replay system a pause option so people can make proper videos with it.
-Give the rewards in the time..like seriously more than 1 month into the open beta and i still didnt get my j.p. icon..also ive seen lots of people complaining that they didnt get their vikka reward.
I think this is pretty much all the things that come in the top of my head..if ill have something more to add ill just edit this..also feel free to post in the comments below what you think bandai should add to the game after the game comes back up obviously if there is some other things that i didnt coverd.
I feel like that 80% of the things that i wrote above should happen because the game didnt really changed alot since alpha in terms of gameplay and the game could really need a huge patch to change things up and make players to come and play more..also better marketing because successful games now days are 90% marketing..get people that this before and know how to get more exposure for the game.
