Many of you that are reading this are most likely seasoned vets to this game and for that I thank you for taking time to read this. For those of you who are newer to the game such as myself well aren't we lucky to have found such a nice game riddled with potential! Now here today you will find that I have suggestions that are most likely different from the ones you see on the forums quite frequently. I am not here to necessarily change the game dynamics or even remove them, on the contrary I love a in depth game and find a competitive community thrives on them. What you will see here today are several suggestions that will make the viewing process and as a result the learning process for players easier to digest. So without further ado I present them,
- Force Technologies
While I love the idea of force Technologies I find that having another (mastery) tree in the game outside that of the Commander can be quite overwhelming for new Commanders. New players coming into the game very rarely move from a less complicated game to a more complex one without extreme growing pains. A way I feel we can ease these pains are really simple, Dumb down the main screen and profile screens. I feel that if you move this factor of the game from outside the game to inside the game not only will it keep the same depth it has, but it will make it easier for new players to digest so they are not bombarded with information all at once. This will also add more of the Real Time Strategy element that players are craving and will remove an unnecessary credit dump. It will also lead to the empowerment of minions late game, stronger counters and overall a better new player experience.
2 . Main Screen Tabs
I have noticed that almost everything done on the main screen of the game seems to be done in tabs especially the profile screen. While this suggestion wont really change anything it'll make the experience far more pleasant and clean. By being clean it'll also allow the user to navigate with less headache and without the feeling of being overwhelmed. My proposal is that every time you click on the screen the Entire screen changes instead of it opening up a tab. I.e. and example being when you hit the store page the ENTIRE window switches to the store. This should happen with every single page. When I click profile the whole screen should change to profile and then when I click on Commanders, Masteries, Medals etc. it should change the entire screen while keeping little buttons or tabs on the side or top for easy navigation. While this wont change ANYTHING about the game it'll make the experience more pleasant. If you notice League of Legends uses this very same model and I feel as a community we can learn a lot from them. By doing this we make the game easier to comprehend while not losing any of its depth, its a win win.
3 . Make the Game Flashier
While the gameplay is something I enjoy very much for the casual player half the love of the game is being entertained by watching it. This game does have a strong entertainment value and has the potential to be drastically higher especially if you take the time to add minor changes here and there that can increase the viewing pleasure. While I am sure this is not a priority now I want to stress the importance of this tidbit of information. By making such changes as simple explosions when certain units die to making a very dramatic explosion with the destruction of a cruiser for example can go a long way. My recommendation for the cruiser would be to make it implode and shoot out a ring across the lane, the ring will be see through so it'll add effects without interfering with player performance. This option could also be disabled for players who cannot handle the capabilities of these graphics but would allow higher level players the ability to entertain the casuals. Another recommendation that comes to the top of my head is to make the nuke leave a small dust cloud in the area for a few seconds afterword's or even cracks across the ground to give it more of an impactful feeling. This can be done for all abilities and would go a long way to improving the viewers performance.
4 . Sound Effects and Character interaction
While the sound effects are present in the game and some really strong ones at that. I feel there needs to be more that are used to assist the user. One example I have is to have a Female voice start at the game that informs you that the Mothership will take command of your forces unless you would like to lead the charge yourself commander (informs you the game will auto produce for your lane). This would add an immersive experience and make the game flow better while reminding a new player about the mechanic while not removing any of its depth. Second point again comes from League of Legends, while this is a game I personally feel is too simple it has achieved success as a sport which cannot be denied! I know a lot of lore junkies out there (myself among them) would enjoy interactions between characters when they meet as enemies or even spawn at the beginning as allies!
5 . Show character damage on Models
This thought just came to me now however the idea occurred to me with most Mecha anime (Gun dam anyone) when someone is losing a fight the mech shows its state. I believe in game this should also be applied to the characters! While this may seem difficult to change the animation keep in mind every time a character moves the animation is being updated. I would like to see some sparks coming off of injured mechs, Some cracks in skin, armor and even have some Commanders lean forward as if weary when low. While this again doesn't change ANY gameplay it offers just that little bit of depth that can immerse a player.

Again my goal is not to dumb down the game and ruin the depth but instead to re arrange and streamline it for new players coming in.
