Just need to keep tugging the line a little. The fishes are starting to drift away because nothing's grabbing their eyes.
Or in real person speak: We just want some hint that there's progress being made in some direction. Something like this will at least give a sense that things are going on behind the scenes. That in itself is probably enough of an update to keep people going for another week or two.
Most of us don't know what its like to be in the development process behind the scene. We only get to see the product as its shown to us. As such, we don't have a sense of the pressures, trials and difficulties that developing this project entails. As such, our expectations of what's reasonable is very different than what Primal or Bandai thinks is reasonable. If you give players a sense of what it's like behind the scenes, it gives us more opportunities to relate to why things are as they are. It doesn't have to be terribly detailed or extravagant. Just a little glimpse of what its like.
