well i m an old player of lol (s1-s2), and i play hots a lot but stopped due to the fail MM, and then i come accross supernova by luck (you really should do some noise about this game !!!).
My first games were against ai fortunatly i was with some others guyz but i had to wait to play vs ai its kinda bad that we cant get a game with only you as human and the rest is ai to test some of the commanders.
In fact, queue time was the most time i passed on this game, ok ok its closed beta but 30-40 min to find a game is kinda :s, but when you queue for 20 min you find a game, someone dodge then you pass another 20 min in queue while the others find a game but without you...
You should do a priority to the players who got into lobby THEN the players waiting in queue.
Now, IG i find snipers can snowball pretty hard early with a few kills (like vikka who hit like a truck and her q spell 500+ dmg), i play mage in pretty all my games cause i like them but here they feel a bit subpar compared to sniper, Velandre can be good but well :s its damn too slow compared to sniper, even kills on mage and sniper, sniper win (ofc in 1v1 situation) and her wave clear is pitifull. The only mage i saw doing verywell early to late is slith that i didnt test cause i didnt had the credit for it due to very very slow MM to find a game (i m only lvl 28 and i spended like 7 hours a day playing this game).
Sniper early snowball even as a tank you cant really peel their dmg cause the masteries def are kinda oriented to be good mid/late game.
The rts part where you can spawn your own minion is originall, i like it a lot, even if the common strategy is to spam low unit such as pathfinder / stinger - drone / reaper, if the opponent stay on this too long it can be countered mid/lategame.
I saw a lot of game where no one do the cargo dock, you need to make it interesting enough to actually battle for it like the meca boss.
The augmentation jungle are pretty damn good too but too hard to do as mage cause all you do is waiting cd while you hit like a fly, really easier to do as sniper with some lifetseal.
More augmentation are needed for mage like cdr (not too much but to be able to at least go to 20-25% sacrificing some power)
Sniper need a little nerf early game snowball, or maybe nerf the kills value before the 10 min mark.
The matchmaking i know its beta too few player, but as i was begining the game like lvl 6 account i come across rift as an opponent kinda one sided game ofc, that make maybe new players fun to vanish when an opponent obliterate you (not for me cause i like challenge) especially when you are lvl 6 and he is lvl 40 with all augmentation and tech, you cant even call that a fair match just by that alone i hope that with the next cbt MORE player will be there.
We need more unit for the rts part to be able to be more versatile, and kinda review the cost of the later unit who can counter the first two unit spam cause spider canon are kinda good counter but you only get them mid game to be effective against their strategy but the income they got doing this just obliterate you when they switch to another strategy, i winned my lane pretty much when i was not facing lvl 40 opponents, but the impact in that is not that impactfull.
Even with all that negative that i put out, i had immense fun playing this game, i like the system with the shard, the masteries, the tactical (some of them are too long to have like teleport lvl 20 or turret control lvl 39...) on that poing TURRET CONTROL is OP as shit, if you re dominating your lane alreeady, all you have to do is dive your opponent with free 8 sec to kill them and well you cant comeback from it if you dont get any help i find this tactical TOO OP and the time to have it is too short, you need maybe a bigger timer on it early on.
Well i had a lot of fun playing it, and will be there for next beta phase hoping that power commanders get some love.
